Farm and household economic study of Kecamatan Nanggung: A socio-economic base line study of agroforestry innovations and lilvelihood enhancement

This report is a farm/household level assessment focusing on farm and household budget analyses, part ofthe USAID funded ‘Agroforestry Innovation and Livelihood Enhancement Program’ implemented byWorld Agroforestry Centre – ICRAF Southeast Asia and Winrock International, with assistance from RMI(the Indonesian Institute for Forest and Environment). It is a socio-economic study to generate base linedata for determining social and economic impacts of adopting trees, agroforestry systems and improvedmarketing system. The working hypothesis of the study is that the socio-economic characteristics offarmers’ household influence the type of tree garden system developed and the garden’s economicproductivity.
