A study was conducted using fistulated cows and zero-grazed (stall-fed) dairy cows in two separate experiments to investigate the effects of Leucaena leucocephela as a source if rumen N on dry matter intake (DMI) of dairy cattle. In experiment1, the degradation characteristics of forage samples were determined using nylon bag technique. in experiment 2, zero-grazed cows were fed on hay and five treatments (T1 to T5) containing L. leucocephela leaf meal (LLM) in a completely randomized block design.
