Livelihood and conservation issues should receive substantial attention and need to be addressed well to contribute to the sustainability of forest and agroforest landscapes. This strategy document has been developed as the foundation to address specific livelihood and conservation issues in AgFor sites in Sulawesi, in this case landscape management in Tahura (Forest Park) Nipa-Nipa, Southeast Sulawesi, to be done collaboratively between the authority and the communities. The overall approach to address livelihood and conservation issues follows diagnostic-to-action steps and the strategy development process ensured ‘participatory’ and ‘inclusive’ principles, in which partnership, with relevant actors and stakeholders in the work area, is key.
