WOODLOT Provides the needed energy and food for the rural people.John Koroma’s example of woodlot John has planted succesfully different tree and crop species to his woodlot. While he gets firewood from his woodlot, he gets e.g. pepper and beans for food. John established his woodlot in 2014, when he planted there Acacia and Gmelina arborea trees, pepper, beans and pineapples. John says : ”It is very encouraging how landhave recovered for food and wood production and growth ratesare very promising !”
