Agroforestry for livelihoods of smallholder farmers in northwest Viet Nam (AFLI) project began in 2011 with support from the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research. The initial results of the study are promising, establishing tangible evidence of the benefits of agroforestry on environmental degradation as well as improving livelihoods for smallholder farmers.
