Panen air merupakan cara pengumpulan ataupenampungan air hujan atau air aliranpermukaan pada saat curah hujan tinggi,untuk digunakan pada waktu curah hujanrendah. Panen air harus diikuti dengankonservasi air, yaitu menggunakan air yangsudah dipanen secara hemat sesuaikebutuhan. Pembuatan rorak, misalnya,merupakan tindakan panen air aliranpermukaan dan sekaligus juga tindakankonservasiair.
