Earthquake and tsunami that hit the Nanggroe Aceh Darusalam Province at 26December 2006 cause damage 61.816 hectares of agriculture land , resultingagriculture activities farmers stopped. The prime damage of agriculture land is thechange of soil texture and impact of sea water intrusion that degrade chemical andfertility of the soil. Degraded agriculture land rehabilitation program affected bytsunami is very necessary, with result that agriculture land can be functioned again.This research objective are (1) To identify agriculture land damage at researchlocation based on distance from coastline, (2) To study aspiration of community forthe their agricultural activities for the future, (3) To study opinion of the communityfor agriculture land rehabilitation plan post-tsunami. The research methods use are(1) Evaluation of area damaging levels using land damage criteria by FAO (2005),(2)Analysis of soil sample collected based on distance from coastline, (3) Interview byquestionnaire to know opinion of community in supporting activities of the agricultureland rehabilitation plan. The result of this research show that agriculture land damagebelongs to B class or middle damage, level of salinity increase from coastline tocontinent with the highest value 2,43 mS/cm at distance of 1.250 meter fromcoastline. Kind of sediment cover the agriculture land is mainly sea sand withthickness ranging from 5 centimetre to 27 centimetre. The communities are generallysupporting activities plan to rehabilitate agriculture land and willing to carry out theiragriculture activities while the agriculture land completely rehabilitated.
