This report provides a record of the proceedings of the Project inception workshop. The workshop drew over 45 participants from development partners (ACIAR), representatives from the University of Adelaide, Australia, representatives from Landcare International and African Landcare, government ministries, local government officials from Kapchorwa and Manafwa, project leaders from Makerere University, National Forestry Resources Research Institute (NaFORRI) and ICRAF, the civil society and different media houses in Uganda.
