Keberhasilan H. Ramli di Desa Buangin menjadi contoh manfaat penerapan metode melindungi buah kakao dari Hama Penggerek Buah (PBK) dengan cara ramah lingkungan; yaitu menggunakan pelindung plastik bekas gelas mineral atau mereka sebut “kaca - kaca”. Tidak hanya melindungi buah kakao dari hama PBK, tetapi juga mengurangi pemakaian pestisida kimia.
