Desa Daya Kusuma berada di Kecamatan Muara Sugihan, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penghidupan utama masyarakat bersumber dari sektor pertanian. Padi merupakan komoditas utama yang diproduksi sebagian besar masyarakat. Selain padi, terdapat kelapa, karet, dan jagung.
