Food trees for nutrition and resilience in Zambia

The food tree portfolios for nutrition and resilience flyer showcase the unique nutrient-rich foods particular to each of the 8 chiefdoms and the food group in which the food item is found, a photo of the food, its English and local names, the seasonal availability as well as the nutritional value based on 4 key nutrients (iron, vitamin A, folate, and vitamin C). The content, concept, and layout of the food tree portfolios were adapted and informed by the projects implemented in Kenya and elsewhere.
