It discusses changes during planning and implementation, the policies related to spatial regulations, affecting people (public), problems and stakeholders’ perspectives, and solutions to improve governance. The studies show that the most common problems in South Sumatra, East Kalimantan and Central Java are related to information and data management, coordination, and problems in spatial planning processes, and regulations and their implementation. On the other hand, the problems faced in Papua Province involving indigenous peoples appear in areas where there is still strong influence of customary practices and indigenous peoples' existence. ";
