A Lubuk Beringin villager, Rahimah, 70, harvests palm nut or areca nut on her agroforestry farm at Lubuk Beringin village, Bungo district, Jambi province, Indonesia. Agroforestry can improve crop productivity in several ways: increasing soil organic matter, infiltration and water storage.
