The dataset shows matches between countries and the World Geographical Scheme for Recording Plant Distributions (WGSRPD; Brummitt, 2001), which divides the terrestrial world into nine areas: Africa, Antarctic, Asia-Temperate, Asia-Tropical, Australasia, Europe, Northern America, Pacific, and Southern America.
