Kevin Brown is a Forest Carbon and REDD+ Advisor at Wildlife Conservation Society. For over a decade, Mr Brown has drawn on his background in remote sensing of forests and landscape modelling to provide technical assistance to governments on REDD+ MRV and GHG reporting to the UNFCCC, and to private sector on land-sector GHG accounting. At WCS, his focus is to identify and advance natural climate solutions within WCS’s conservation landscapes worldwide. In his role as WCS’s lead on technical standards for natural climate solutions, Mr Brown is a main author on Verra’s forthcoming consolidated methodology for avoided unplanned deforestation.
