CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Documenting and evaluating the socio-economic viability of agroecological practices across Africa

As the first integrated project of the Agroecology TPP, the French-funded Viability Project has officially concluded its data collection in December 2022 and spent all of 2023 analyzing and synthesizing findings. This series of final project-related events will disseminate the key results and recommendations, exploring how these can be integrated into policies, strategies, funding streams and other initiatives across Africa.

We will have the same presentations and discussion points on each of the three days, but each day will be reserved for specific stakeholder groups. Thus, we ask you to please choose one day to participate based on which of the groups represent your interests the most.
