Dr. Marcela Quintero, works for the Alliance between Bioversity International and CIAT. She is the Research Director of the Multifunctional Landscapes Research Area. Marcela is an Ecologist and Agronomist with 20-year experience, her core work experience has been on research in thematic areas related to Payments for Ecosystem Services (PES), watershed management, environmental impacts in agricultural landscapes, and adoption determinants of sustainable land use-based options. Marcela is the co-leader of Water, Land and Ecosystems’ (WLE) Restoring Degraded Landscapes flagship research program.
