Join us for our next Agroecology TPP Dialogue – a hands-on and topic-specific interactive online workshop that aims to share and co-create knowledge on one of the most important topics: holistic metrics for agroecology.
The 3-hour Dialogue will focus on Measuring what Matters to Foster Agroecological Transitions. The workshop will illustrate results from the use of the Holistic Localized Performance Assessment (HOLPA) in Burkina Faso, India, Lao PDR, Kenya, Peru, Senegal, Tunisia, and Zimbabwe, as well as key insights from applying the Tool for Agroecology Performance Evaluations (TAPE) in Benin, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Madagascar. The workshop will also showcase the work from the Agroecology TPP on a meta-framework and database to support diverse metrics users in their journey towards holisticity.
After a panel discussion and Q&A, participants will be divided into 4 break-out rooms, by key topics regarding metrics and assessment tools, as follows:
- Field and farm-level assessments
- Selecting metrics for different purposes
- Locally appropriate vs. globally comparable metrics and tools
- Landscape and food systems assessments
