This event will examine the relationship between drought and ecosystem degradation and how ecosystem restoration, through nature-based solutions, can reduce drought and build the adaptive capacity of communities and ecosystems. As part of the event, we will launch the IUCN publication Restoring ecosystems to reduce drought risk: Nature-based solutions for drought.
