Sunday Geofrey

Sunday Geofrey holds a Masters (B+1) in International Relations from the International Relations Institute of Cameroon (IRIC) and a Bachelors Degree in English Modern Letters with Minor in African Literature and Civilizations from the University of Yaounde I. He is the Coordinator of Support Humanity Cameroon (SUHUCAM), a Humanitarian and Development organization he founded in 2017. Through this organization, he has empowered and engaged rural and marginalized communities in tree planting initiatives to fight climate change and restore degraded forest and agricultural landscapes. Besides this, Sunday is involved in several voluntary initiatives. He is GLFx Yaounde Chapter Coordinator, Africa Climate Reality Project (ACRP) Volunteer Regional Coordinator for Central Africa, GLF 2021 Social Media Ambassador and a Community Steward with International Bamboo and Rattan Organization INBAR) Central African Regional Office. Prior to creating SUHUCAM, Sunday was actively involved in several community development initiatives and served for over 12 years as Office Assistant with two International Organizations Including the African Union Sport Council. Sunday is passionate farmer and runs an Integrated Farm in Yaounde, where he cultivates vegetables and does poultry and piggery farming.
