P. Ragavan

Dr. P. Ragavan is a Scientist in the MoEF & CC, Govt. of India New Delhi. He pursued his Ph. D degree in Marine Biology from Pondicherry University. His area of interest is taxonomy, ecology, molecular phylogenetics, and biogeochemistry of mangroves and seagrasses. His more recent research has concentrated on the conservation and management of mangroves and the carbon dynamics in the Blue carbon habitats of India and eDNA metabarcoding of mangroves. He has published 42 research articles, 8 book chapters, and one book.
