Dr Nghobuoche Frankline is a natural resource management research officer with the CIFOR-ICRAF Cameroon office. He has more than 10 years of experience working in sustainable forest management, especially in forest certification and non-timber forest products. He was trained at the University of Yaoundé 1 in Cameroon, where he took his PhD in Geography (forest certification) and master’s degree in Non-Timber Forest Products. He worked as a post-doctoral fellow on the challenges and barriers to forest certification for sustainable forest management in the Congo Basin in a consortium comprising the University of Mans, France; the University of Yaoundé 1, Cameroon and Forêts et Développement Rural (FODER)-Cameroon. He has experience working as a consultant for both national and international non-governmental organizations. He has authored and co-authored many publications focusing on sustainable forest management in international journals.
