This report for 1982 is presented under the headings of the seven programmes comprising the new Programme of Work which was approved by the Board of Trustees at its meeting in March 1982. In effect, the Council worked according to the new programme structure for the whole calendar year. The experience of working with new responsibi-lities, directions and budgeting principles is, on the whole, very positive.
