The objectiv e of this Na tional F orest Inven tory (NFI) w as t o assess f orest- stand c onditions, s tock s, gr owth rates and tr ee div ersity acr oss the landsc apes of Indonesia. An impr ov ed v ersion of the NFI bec ame known as the F orest Assessmen t and Monit oring S ystem.
