CIFOR–ICRAF publishes over 750 publications every year on agroforestry, forests and climate change, landscape restoration, rights, forest policy and much more – in multiple languages.

CIFOR–ICRAF addresses local challenges and opportunities while providing solutions to global problems for forests, landscapes, people and the planet.

We deliver actionable evidence and solutions to transform how land is used and how food is produced: conserving and restoring ecosystems, responding to the global climate, malnutrition, biodiversity and desertification crises. In short, improving people’s lives.

Watershed (DAS) is an integral component of the ecosystem that consists of biotic and abiotis and can not be separated from each other between components as well as having distinctive characteristics, both in hydrology, land cover, socio-cultural and economic surrounding. Watershed functions and plays a basic role as a region that receives, holds and drain the water through a single outlet. However, the role and function of the watershed is influenced by changes in land cover. This study aims to analyze the GenRiver Hydrology Model and predict changes in water balance Sub-watershed simulation Goseng with different land cover conditions. The research method used is to use and analyze the model Generic Riverflow (GenRiver) and use simulation to determine the changes in land cover changes in water balance in the sub watershed Goseng. Relief devices used in this model is to use Stella as software associated with Microsoft Excel files. The parameters considered in this model of climatological data, landform, soils, geology and land cover.
